My name is Simone Merritt, Founder, and CEO of Enomis Consulting Group, LLC. I wanted to take this opportunity to introduce myself and share how excited I am to communicate our commitment to helping you drive success in your business.
HR has always played a major role in my life, mainly because I simply love what I do! When deciding to follow my dream of owning an HR consulting company came to fruition, my main goal is and has always been to provide quality HR services to small businesses and young entrepreneurs in the metro Atlanta area and beyond. I believe that providing HR solutions that fit the needs of the client and their brand will help ease the pressure on the company so that their time can be better spent developing their businesses.
In my 11+ years of working in the HR industry, I have seen multiple small businesses “get it wrong” when it comes to managing their HR functions. Most new and upcoming entrepreneurs and small business owners wear so many hats when starting their business that sometimes the true functions of HR can become overlooked. This is where Enomis Consulting can help bridge the gap with our innovative approach. Regardless of the size of the company or the industry, our ability to provide HR solutions to help businesses maintain organizational structure and compliance is something that Enomis Consulting Group can assist with. Simone Merritt

Mrs. Merritt began her Human Resources career 11 years ago. In addition to her key strength in human resource information management systems, she also possesses a background in federal contract regulations and compliance, diversity, and inclusion, change management, employee benefits, compensation, performance management, employee recruitment, training and employee relations. Ms. Merritt is a graduate of The University of West Georgia, where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She has also earned her Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Columbia Southern University. Simone brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role by providing strategic leadership in the planning and implementation of quality-based, integrated human resources programs for personnel and staff for small business and young entrepreneurs.

Alongside her vast experience in HR Simone has also held the position of Chief Operations Officer for The Jessie Mae Foundation in Marietta, GA, since 2017. The foundation’s mission is to provide career alternatives to today’s youth, by providing them with exposure to the Non-Destructive Testing Industry and other trade-based careers, educating the youth by teaching them essential life skills, and encouraging them to explore the vast career options in different industries of trades. As a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many individuals, and families world-wide, began experiencing food insecurities. Giving back and helping the community has always been one of her passions. This inspired Simone and the JMF to add a community outreach component to their mission. The JMF Food Pantry was implemented in 2020, to provide needed food and resources to those experiencing hardships due to the world-wide pandemic.

Simone also sits on the Advisory Board for the Clayton County Public Schools CTAE program at Mundy’s Mill High School, her Alma Mater. The purpose of the advisory board is to support educators, students, and businesses in developing, establishing, and evaluating CTAE programs to ensure students are well prepared for the world of work.

Melissa has spent her life using her personal, and career experience to help inspire those around her to set their goals and stay the course. She has a passion for service and giving that she exudes in every aspect of her life. After graduating high school in the top 10 percent of her class, Melissa went on to pursue further education at Columbus State University, in Columbus, GA. During her undergraduate years, she faced many challenges in both her personal and academic life that made completion of her degree seem nearly impossible. After suffering a tragic loss, Melissa returned to her hometown to complete her undergraduate university education.

In 2020, amidst a growing pandemic, Melissa was able to realize one of her dreams. She received her bachelor’s degree in Integrated Studies with focuses on Social Science and Natural Science, from Clayton State University. Melissa is currently working in logistics finance for DHL Supply Chain, an entity of global conglomerate Deutsche Post DHL Group. Although she deals largely with numbers, Melissa recognizes that the most important part of any operation is its people.

Over the years, Melissa has learned that there is no single path to success, and that the journey and destination looks different for everyone. She strives daily in her personal and professional life to help others embrace their unique journey. Melissa, now a mother of one and budding entrepreneur, is working to continuously pursue her passions by branching into the service industry and through philanthropic opportunities.
